He always sounded like he had a cold.

West Ham sent a scout to watch him when he was a junior, along with all the major clubs. Francis turned up with flu but when he saw all the scouts he insisted on playing, he had a shit game and everyone left thinking he was wildly over rated .

When Francis wife died of cancer he never got a phone call or even a text from the despicable three now running our club.
RIP.

RIP Trevor Francis

He despised Sullivan and Brady when managing Birmingham. Gold tried to be a peace maker but it all ended in tears.

He was in Spain, so have to wonder if the heat has played a part.

Blimey, that's given me a jolt. Same age as me.

I saw him play a few times and he was both a top player but also a gentleman on the pitch. A real sportsman, a bit like our own Sir Trev.
RIP Trevor Francis

Very sad news, you just never know when your time is up.

A household name, and of course mentioned in the OFAH theme song, that's how famous he was.

RIP.

Blimey! First Shaka keeling over and now this; two people I thought would have been as fit as oxen.

Both sad and strange in equal measures.

Absolutely devastating news. Met him at a charity function a few years back. Brilliant footballer, human being, great sense of humor too. R.I.P. Trevor

Another player I remember from my youth, I still remember him playing for Birmingham and then his transfer to Forest.

There was a picture in shoot magazine of him and his wife in fur coats, I thought they looked so glamorous.

RIP Trevor
